Due to my life and that of my family on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, I am very compassionate to do something for the children, the culture and the education of the Lakota.

Throughout my youth I read a lot about Native American cultures. Thereby I became very considerate about the general living conditions on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Being an elementary teacher I am very glad to exert myself for a wholistic and future-directed education of the Lakota children.

I first became aware as a teenager of the difficult living conditions of Native Americans, and soon after was able to gather important experiences on various Indian educational projects. I want to contribute through my work for the Lakota Foundation to changing and improving the lives of Native Americans, and especially Lakota children.
